I’m very excited that Winter, The North Meadow was one of 42 works selected for the juried exhibition, Creative Connections, sponsored by Maryland Federation of Art, and held at Gallery B located in Bethesda, Maryland. The exhibition will be on view at the gallery from February 4 – March 2, with an opening reception on February 14th from 6-9pm. For more information about the exhibit and reception, visit Gallery B’s website.
Winter, The North Meadow was shot last February, during one of my many visits to Adkins Arboretum in Ridgely, Maryland. While walking through the arboretum’s meadows, I was inspired by the incredible late day light on the winter grasses. Winter, The North Meadow was shot with my iPhone and processed with the apps AutoStitch, FilterStorm and PhotoStudio. The final archival pigment print is 16×16″ and printed on bamboo-fiber paper.
