I’m thrilled that The Rising Moon and Winter’s Swamp will be included in the juried exhibit, American Landscapes: Scenes from the Americas, at the Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis, Maryland. The exhibit will be on view at MFA’s Circle Gallery from August 15-September 14, with a reception on August 24 from 3-5pm.  The exhibit’s juror is Peter Van Dyck, artist and professor at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. For more information, visit the Maryland Federation of Art’s website.

The Rising Moon was shot last July during a trip to my uncle’s property in northern Pennsylvania. I’ve been walking through this landscape my entire life, and it’s been a great source of artistic inspiration. The Rising Moon was processed using AutoStitch, FilterStorm, Vintage Scene, Photo FX, and Laminar Pro.
