I’m pleased to announce that The Red Tree is one of 100 digital works selected for this year’s Lumen Prize Online Gallery. View the online exhibit and vote for your favorite by September 20th.  Of the works included in the online gallery, 25 will be selected by a jury for the 2014 Lumen Prize Exhibition which will tour internationally from October 2014 to March 2015.

The Lumen Prize celebrates artists working with electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, 3D printers, and computers with proprietary or open-source software or coding of their own design.

The Red Tree was photographed with my iPhone on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina; and is my love song to Autumn. The image was captured with the app 645 Pro Mk II; and processed entirely on my iPhone with the apps FilterStorm, PhotoForge, and PhotoStudio.
