This Saturday, September 27th, Imagine This: Art by Smart Devices opens at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Red Hook, Brooklyn. I’m thrilled to have seven pieces included in this juried international show, including: Early Morning, The Hollow; Along The Water’s Edge; Autumn Lake; Bay’s Edge; The Fallen Tree; The Red Tree; and Winter’s Swamp. Included in the exhibit will be 200 works created with iPhones, iPads, and other smart devices and will be displayed on large screens. The exhibit is on display at BWAC from September 27-October 26, with a reception on Saturday, September 27th from 2-6pm.
Early Morning, The Hollow was photographed in north-central Pennsylvania on the property that my uncle has owned for over 50 years. I’ve been walking through the mountains, fields and meadows on this property my entire life. I have a deep connection to this landscape. Early Morning, The Hollow was photographed with my iPhone with the app Pro Camera 7, and processed with the apps AutoStitch, Mextures and Modern Grunge.
